ApsaraDB for Memcache supports the subscription and pay-as-you-go billing methods. You can change the billing method from pay-as-you-go to subscription. Both billing methods allow you to change the specifications of an instance.
Notes
- During the specification changes, the instance may be disconnected for seconds. We recommend that you change specifications of an instance during off-peak hours. Make sure that your applications can automatically reconnect to the instance after disconnection.
- After you change specifications, the instance is billed based on the new specifications.
Procedure (pay-as-you-go)

- On the Instances page, find the instance and choose in the Actions column.
- On the page that appears, set the required specifications.

- On the Instances page, find the instance and choose or Downgrade in the Actions column.
