Distributed architecture frees businesses from the impact of SPOFs

  • ApsaraDB for Memcache uses a distributed cluster architecture. Each node is composed of two servers for hot backup and is capable of automatic disaster recovery and automatic instance migration.

  • ApsaraDB for Memcache provides multiple types of specifications to meet different requirements for business loads and allows you to improve database performance based on your requirements.

  • ApsaraDB for Memcache supports data persistence and backup and recovery policies. This secures data reliability and avoids the impact on the backend databases when the cache becomes invalid because of the physical node faults.

A multi-level security defense system resists more than 90% of network attacks for you

  • DDoS defense: Network access is monitored in real time. Source IP addresses are cleaned in the event of high-traffic attacks. If the cleaning does not take effect, traffic is redirected to a black hole.

  • IP address whitelist configuration: A maximum of 1,000 server IP addresses can be configured in the whitelist for accessing an instance. This puts risks under control from the source.

  • Virtual private cloud (VPC): ApsaraDB for Memcache is fully connected to an isolated VPC that is built based on Alibaba Cloud.

  • Simple Authentication and Security Layer (SASL) authentication: SASL is used for user identity authentication to safeguard data access security.
